Comfy Care12 team in collaboration with Australian Volunteers Program had the opportunity to visit Simanjiro District in Manyara region Tanzania and conducted Menstrual Health & Hygiene Training sessions with schools in Orkesumet ward. The team visited Simanjiro Secondary school with 51 adolescent girls, whom we’re delighted to learn a-lot about menstrual health issues that affects their education on monthly basis.
Comfy care12 provided menstrual facilities such as reusable sanitary pads as well as underpants for their hygienic use and needs. In the month of commemorating menstrual health day, we encourage the government and development partners to ensure adolescent girls are aware of the menstrual health education so they can access their education right’s despite menstruation 
challenges, no girl child should be denied her education rights at the cost of menstrual misconceptions in our society
