Comfy Care12 team in collaboration with @anannkefoundation visited the Ilumba Sec school in Muheza-Tanga region on 7th of October 2022. The 39 adolescents girls and young women (AGYW), from class of form 2 & 4. The girls were able to participate in the Menstrual health management education session by CC12 with facilitators, Magdalena Massanja, Stella Lukumay, the health female teachers and health expert Md. Gladys Ndauka @wasa_initiative The sessions looked into different challenges experienced by the adolescent girls in Muheza district at Magoroto village, they shared issues such as, lack of money to purchase sanitary pads, lack of constant flow of tap water at schools latrines, hence, they will have to postpone classes until they finish their menstrual flows at home.
